Butcher’s Van

We were privileged to take on the challenge of manufacturing a mobile-shop van conversion for long-established butchers in the heart of Cornwall. 

As always with commercial vans, the timing was crucial; we had a 2 week `holiday` window to get it up and running and back on its rounds. The mobile butchers round has been going for 70 years like clockwork, so we worked day and night, to make sure the van was ready to hit the road without delay.

The long wheel based Peugeot Boxer needed the fridge units completely rebuilt as well as the all important freezer slabs installed. In addition to this we updated the electrical systems to allow charging whilst in transit, and improve the efficiency of the freezers units.

With a bit of modification we also increased the refrigeration capacity to permit the installation of both an additional freezer unit and a full height display unit increasing the amount of product on display.
